Join us for the conversation on the importance of youth political participation for strengthening democratic societies, and the role of the European Commission and the Council of Europe in facilitating and promoting young people’s engagement in decision-making processes. The study, authored by Ondřej Bárta, Georg Boldt and Anna Lavizzari, explores young people’s contemporary engagement in politics, including both conventional and non-conventional channels of participation, namely voting, membership in political parties, national youth councils and youth organisations, volunteering and participation in global movements and protests.
Visit our page on young people’s political participation for more resources and read the study!
This event is organised as a part of the #EuropeanYearOfYouth #EYY2022
